Trail Vibe

This section of the Pennsy Greenway Trail is very popular due to its proximity to Redar Park. It starts at the police station in downtown Schererville, which has a small memorial park. The park itself has a large playground and ball fields. The trail turns more natural as it runs south, lined with trees. A tunnel takes the trail under Route 30, and while it may appear sketchy, it is nice and cool in the summer. The rest of this section is fairly open.
