Trail Vibe

Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve is a Will County gem. Wooded trails filled with massive oak trees let you immerse yourself in nature. The gravel Scout Trail loops around the main section of the preserve. This can be tough to push a stroller through. There are large sections of wildflowers in the summer. The paved Snapper Pond Trail winds down to a large pond that frequently has turtles and frogs. The Nature Center is fun for little kids and has lots of activities. We will typically do the pond trail, then double up on the gravel trail.
